Iván Harrison Pla is an associate at Wordstone Dispute Resolution in Paris. His practice focuses on investment and international commercial arbitration. He has experience in commercial disputes and pre-litigation matters in the construction, oil and gas, and engineering sectors, gained from an in-house perspective.

Before joining Wordstone Dispute Resolution, Iván worked at a multinational energy company in Madrid. Before that, he gained litigation experience in Spain, working across all levels of the Spanish court system.

Iván has also participated as an oralist in the prestigious Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, placing among the competition’s top teams in Vienna.

• Acted as in-house counsel in two major ICC arbitration proceedings arising from disputes in the energy, construction and engineering sectors.
• Handled multi-jurisdictional contractual and dispute-related matters in Algeria, Thailand, Peru and Colombia for a multinational energy company.
• Drafted and negotiated the principal agreement for a major electric vehicle charging infrastructure project.
• Successfully had an appeal in cassation upheld by the Spanish Supreme Court.
